03 — BEFORE YOU WRITE
To give you the most useful response possible, include as much of the following as you can. Don't worry if you don't have everything—we'll figure out the gaps in conversation.
Format, runtime, and where it's going. Feature film? Streaming series? Festival short? Branded podcast? The delivery context shapes everything technical.
Pre-production, on-set, picture lock, festival delivery—the stage tells me what kind of audio support you need and how I can integrate.
Realistic delivery dates, screening dates, or launch windows. Tight deadlines are workable; surprises mid-project are harder.
Films, series, or shows whose sound you admire—or want to push against. References give us shared vocabulary faster than abstract descriptions.
